False Eyelashes Make a Miracle, But…
Health & Beauty / /
More and more women, wishing to succeed a greater sexiness in their look, use false eyelashes. As usual when the makeup is in question, some choose lashes that really give such an effect and other go too far so they remind of poorly designed dolls. To avoid this mistake here is what kind of lashes you should choose and how to glue them.
Lashes can contribute to your appearance, can make the eyes ‘pop’, but also can set you back. The countless times repeated, and already well known "less is more" rule, can be wholly applied in this case.
If the lashes are too big and too thick, you can get the effect of "wings" and the eyes will look more closed than they really are. Therefore, choose smaller and sparse lashes because they look more natural, and the chances to make a mistake are minimal.
On the market there are also individual lashes, which - as the name says – are put one at a time. If you want to achieve "openness" of the eye, you put the longer pieces in the middle of the eyelid and the shorter on the corners of the eye.
When the aim is to make the eyes bigger, long eyelashes should go to the end of the eyelid, and as we approach the inner corner of the eye, we apply shorter lashes. Don’t forget that the eyelashes are applied at the very end of the eyes make-up process.
If you want eyelashes that are "equal", select those with thinner tape at the base of the lashes, for better and easier adjustment to the shape of the eye. If they are too long – just trim them, too long lashes are incredibly hard to work with. The adhesive tape is very important, so be careful and precise when working with it.
Tip for beginners: Cut the lashes in two, so that you can apply them easily.
The same lashes can be used several times, of course by a same person. It is important to wash them with warm water and remove the glue from previous use.
When it comes to removing them, use an oil-free eye makeup remover to soften the glue and then allow the lash to slide off. Easy.
