Panasonic Reveals Robot Exoskeletons Assist Suits
Science & Tech / /
Just like in science-fiction movies, the workers at Panasonic are using exoskeleton suits. Although these assist suits are already being used in medicine, recently they found its way in other fields too.
There are three additional assist suits presented that will help workers and the elderly complete everyday tasks.
One of those ‘’nonmedical’’ examples of exoskeleton holds the title Assist Suit AWN- 03 and it is used by the employees at the companies' compound. This suit helps workers reduce the strain on the back when lifting heavier items, and when its battery is full "the robot" can continue working actively for 8 more hours.
Another two are the PNL-01 suit named ‘Ninja’ which has much sleeker look and it assists with motions like walking and running, and the Power Loader, a powerful suit perfect for use during disaster relief, construction, and public works.
The technology used in the world of “Assist technology” electronics is a big step towards reaching the sci-fi movies predictions. We, the team of beebee can`t wait to present to you about the future of technology and our world in general. After this project, just imagine the possibilities or, the “ideas for life” as Panasonic likes to say it.
The Japanese company decided to make a video that will show the work of their employees who use the exoskeleton and show its capabilities. You can check it below:
