Do it yourself / /
Halloween is just around the corner and we bring you some interesting and easy DIY project ideas to spice up your party hall. Check it out.
If you are looking for that easy to do, IY project that will give your Halloween party a totally spooky vibe or just an idea to surprise your kids, we have something really interesting for you. We found this bat branch, DIY project at homedit.com and here is what you need in order to get it done:
- few pieces of black cardstock
- fishing line
- a wooden branch
- two small screw hooks
First you need to draw out the bat(man) shadow shape on the cardstocks. Then take the scissors and cut out as many as you have drawn. Beware you can switch for more kid friendly silhouettes if that suits you more.
Once the shapes are cut out, use the tip of the scissors to create tiny hole for the fishing line to go through. Tie both ends in a loop.
Next step is screwing the hooks into the ceiling or wherever you want the branch to hang. Once you have done so, make two more; two end loops from the fishing line. Make sure one loop is bigger than the other, because it will have to hold the wooden branch.
Tie off the loops with the bat shapes on the branch and hang the branch with the help of the loops.
And that's it. It is simple, fast, easy, yet looks really charming. Check out the gallery for step by step photo guide and make sure to let us know how yours turns out.
