Do it yourself / /
Did you ever had the desire to make yourself a small home office? We present you the easiest way to use the closet space to build it.
If you are a freelancer or working from home you probably know that it can be really hard to follow up your daily routine and schedule if you are just laying on your living room sofa. Luckily for all of you out there, DIY network have come up with some real simple ideas to build your own workspace at home.
First you have to choose the space where you will set this project in motion. Easiest way is to use the space planned for closets and turn it into a working desk and office supplies storage.
First things first, choose the color of the 'office' wall. Go for dark raspberry if you are looking for an inspirational color. Or just go with your gut and choose your favorite one. After all it is your workspace.
Choose your chair. If you go for ordinary wood chair, you can cover it up with some decoupage to make it look original.
Cover up your storage boxes with some fabric. It will give them all new look, and you will like to use them more often. Use glue and choose some fabric with interesting design.
Make sure you use pegboard for your hidden corners. It is versatile and useful, and you can attach tiny bins on it. The bins can be used for your mail, bills and letters, and you can also use the pegboard to hang on office supplies like scissors, cords and earphones.
Make sure you add shelves as well. You can partially cover them up with metallic wrapping in order to give your touch to the space.
Also make sure your desktop area is at point. Because it will be your focal point every day so you want to make it as best as it can be.
