Easy DIY project - Melted crayon wall art
Do it yourself / /
This is one of the easiest DIY projects that gives you that stunning final result you would be proud to brag with. Take a look.
If you are looking for an idea to spice up your living room space or create the perfect personalized gift, this would be the idea you have been looking for.
For this DIY project you will need:
- canvas (in the photos the size is 24"x12")
- heat gun or hair dryer
- crayons (this depends of the dimensions of the canvas, a 96 crayon pack was used for this one )
- glue gun
Once you have the supplies ready, take your time to sort the crayons by color. Leave out the browns, blacks and whites. When you are done with that, take a specific color and line the crayons up by shades - from bright to dark hues.
Then glue the lined up color crayons on the top of canvas. Easiest thing would be to glue them in packs of 3 or 4, just to save up on time. Once you are done with that, lean the canvas on a wall or any support, and make sure you have the bottom of the canvas on a paper wrapped work area (since it knows to be messy).
Begin heating up the crayons from the start. It takes couple of minutes for the crayons to start melting. Repeat it until you get the desired result.
