Authentic emotions in Valentino's new campaign
Fashion / /
There are two whole months until the official begging of fall, but designers already show off their Fall/Winter 2016 ad campaigns. Check out the latest one from Valentino.
Authentic emotions brought with elegant movements is what Valentino has prepared for upcoming fall. Fall/Winter 2016 collection might be presented a year ago, but now it's time for the ad campaign.
The campaign was shot in New York by the infamous and legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel. The items from black and beige collection are worn by Jamie Bochert, Karen Elson, Kaitlin Aas and Julia Nobis. The concept of the campaign (judging by the final result) was to capture the emotions in the elegant movements through the eyes of a ballet fan. We all know that ballerinas are incredibly gracious human beings and precisely that fact is shown in the impeccable photos by Meisel.
The campaign set is improvised ballet scene where the models are captured in incredible shots with perfect light/dark balance. The focus is on the act more than the clothes which makes it look even more artsy and powerful. The signature silhouette of a typical Valentino woman is there, she is tall, sleek, model look-a-like, but she is a confident, strong woman which is exactly how she is shown in the campaign.
Anyway take a look and let us know how you like it.
