Balenciaga Pre-Fall 2016 collection

With the new creative designer Demna Gvasalia seem to get a whole new vibe while keeping the fashion brand's signature aesthetic.
The Pre-Fall collection for Balenciaga was designed by the creative team of the brand. Even though the period squeezed between the departure of Alexander Wang and the first runway presentation of collection designed by Demna Gvasalia, his influence is more than detectable.
The Vetements designer brought his own view of the brand's signature aesthetic, which can be clearly seen in the high stiletto heeled boots with the Balenciaga signature grid pattern. As the designer took over the creative control, he had to tame down his Vetements influence though it is still present, this time in a bit less but still oversized proportions.
The collection brings us oversized hooded blouses, aviator jackets with Balenciaga logo on the inside of the collar, metallic boots and elements and maxi, flower print dress styled up with fur poncho, bright neon color details on monochromatic looks as well as short wool coats.
Whatever happened behind the scenes is actually not our business, our thing is to enjoy the great collection that was the result. Diving into Balenciaga archive but using it with a whole new twist has proven to be successful for Gvasalia so far, and we expect nothing less from him in the upcoming collections.
Take a look at the final result and let us know how you like it.
