On the red carpet of annual CFDA Awards this weekend, held in Hammerstein Ballroom in New York we saw some interesting, yet not so unique outfits. We bring you the best of them.
2016s Council of Fashion Designer of America (CFDA) Awards in New York were 'given away' over the weekend and here are the designers that dominated the red carpet.
The award for Fashion Icon went to the hands of Beyonce. She appeared on stage wearing stripped Givenchy suit with black hat, and dedicated the award to her mother who was and still is her inspiration. Tina Knowels was the costume designer of Destiny's Childs and Beyonce for an 'eternity' now.
Back to the red carpet let's start with Riley Keough in black and white Proenza Schouler, Gia Coppola wore Gucci dress on the red carpet. She came with Alessandro Michele who later won the International Award.
Karlie Kloss was stunning in white Rosie Assoulin number. Kirsten Dunst wore sparkly, metallic Rodarte dress. Doutzen Kroes walked the red carpet in black suit from Calvin Klein Collection.
Irina Shayk wowed everyone in red jumpsuit from Misha Nonoo. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley appeared in sequined dress from Michael Kors Collection while Heidi Klum in asymmetric Roland Mouret dress.
Sofia Sanchez de Betak was awkwardly gorgeous in a vintage skirt and Dannijo jewelry top. Tilda Swinton staying true to her style in Haider Ackermann ensemble. Ciara’s ruffled Roberto Cavalli dress looked like a princess’s night gown.
Alessandra Ambrosio was stunning as always in simple violet Michael Kors dress. Naomi Campbell walked the red carpet in a revealing black Brandon Maxwell number. Jourdan Dunn rarely misses to make a statement on the red carpet events. This time she appeared in delicate, sheer Jonathan Simkhai dress.
Olivia Palermo wore color block dress from one of her favorite designers Carolina Herrera. Lena Dunham came with Irene Neuwirth, wearing Creature of the Wind. Adriana Lima made a bit unexpected choice for the red carpet, wearing pants and blazer from Marc Jacobs.
