Burberry's patchwork for Fall/Winter 2016/2017

"A Patchwork" was the name of Burberry's new collection presented during London Fashion Week. The collection featured a mix of patterns and textures inspired by British musicians, artists and history.
Burberry's Fashion Shows are always supported by British aspiring music acts, so it was no surprise that for their Fall/Winter 2016/17 runway show, they had chosen Jake Bugg to entertain the guests. The collection was presented couple days ago on London Fashion Week.
Bailey once again presented a great collection with retro rock-glam pieces. The whole collection had that bold vibe, that in a way seemed like it was a tribute the late David Bowie.
First face of the collection was the British IT girl, Edie Campbell, wearing green mini dress with graphic texture, designed leggings and of course a perfect coat.
As the show went on we saw Burberry's favorite models wearing fantastic dresses with unique prints, glam sparkles, leather jackets with animal prints, retro knitted striped dresses, oversized jacket with fur elements, high waist pants with charming floral shirts...
As usual, many of the pieces were handmade. The whole team showed amazing handmade, colorful dresses with different shapes, cuts and textures.
Few male models as well appeared on the catwalk, wearing street style outfits. The men's pieces included bomber jackets, jeans, plaid coats, sweaters and chic sneakers.
Not surprisingly, this was the most visited show of London Fashion Week with front row guests like the fashion icon Olivia Palermo, Alexa Chung, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Mario Testino, Naomi Campbell, Ellie Goulding...
