The Best Nails Trends of NYFW Spring\Summer 2018

Monochromatic, matte or glittered: Another session of experiments when it came to nails on the runway has just passes. Here are the most striking nails with the best shapes, colors, and textures at New York Fashion Week.
Delicate Glitter at Jenny Packham
The delicate touch of glitters on the nails at Jenny Packham were the perfect complement to the chiffon dresses down the runway. The pinky beige base gives the special warmness as the name itself suggests. In order to transform the elegant nude from just regular to special and more striking there are pink and silver glitter polishes, which are concentrated at the root of the nail and fading as moving up the nail.
Chocolate Brown Nails at Marc Jacobs
A textured chocolate brown manicure may not be how most of us imagine spring but leave it to Marc Jacobs. A celebrity manicurist, Marian Newman probably adheres to the rule "so wrong, it's right." The rich chocolate brown tones were emphasized even more with the black Swarovski stones. "There's a hardness to the look," Newman says. "Everything about it is a little wrong, but because it's so wrong and so imperfect, it's perfect."
Overstated Embellishments at the Blonds
Designers Phillipe and David Blond are known for their overstated embellishments and prints. Each of the 36 looks that were presented on the runway was complemented with unique nail design. Roxanne Valinoti, the lead artist, explained that she took the inspiration by surrealism and animation: "We had this idea of sort of a hedonistic, dangerous paradise, so that's where the sharper shapes, the spikes, and the neons come in."
Ombré Rose at Zac Posen
Faded rose garden was the nail look that followed the pieces of Zac Posen. The rose ombré tones looked just as feminine and romantic as his new presented collection. For the coat was used a purply pink nail polish and then using a tiny sponge a creamy lavender polish was dabbed from the middle of the nail to the tip. "It kind of mixes and disperses the colors so you don't get that obvious line," says the lead artist.
Ivory Studded Nails at Honor
The ivory-studded nails by Deborah Lippmann for Honor were just as elegant and edgy as the ethereal clothes in the collection. For reaching that point of elegance the team used two coats of slightly shimmery pale pink and about six small Swarovski crystals arranged in a pyramid at the base of each almond-shaped nail.
