Lavender may be useful in curing headache, migraine and tension. The refreshing aroma of lavender eliminates nervousness and increases mental activity. Research has shown that students who had inhaled lavender and rosemary oil before the exam, had lower levels of stress than other students, thus their cognitive abilities were found to be increased.

Lavender is also good in treating acne, redness and scarring because it can be directly applied to the face. On cotton pad put a drop of lavender oil and gently rub it on the exact area you want. For best results, repeat the procedure several times.
The oil is useful in treating digestion problems because it increases the movement of food in the intestines. The oil also stimulates the production of gastric juices and also helps in curing indigestion, stomach pains, cramps, bloating, vomiting and diarrhea.
