How to Make a Nourishing Sunbathing Oil

This "DIY" suntan oil is actually a mixture obtained by dipping herbs in oil. Given that its protective factor is about five, it is recommended that you use it when the skin is already tarnished, or when the sun is lower. The skin rubbed with this oil, made from green walnuts, carrots and olive oil, will become soft, nourished and protected.
How it is made and its ingredients
Carrots are full of beta-carotene, a strong antioxidant that protects the skin from UV rays. Studies have shown that natural beta-carotene is much better and healthier than synthetic that is used in many sunscreens.
Walnuts are loaded with vitamin E, also powerful antioxidants needed for a healthy and beautiful skin, and contain extremely healthy fat and that’s why it also has an anticancer effect.
Olive oil, due to the high percentage of unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins A and E it helps to protect from the sun and has a very beneficial effect on sensitive skin.
Given the fact that this mixture should stand for one month, it is recommended that you make it as soon as possible, in order to be ready when they go to the sea.
Ingredients needed are:
6.7 green walnuts
One big fresh carrot and two smaller ones
- Break the walnuts into quarters and place them in a jar.
- Grate the carrots and pour all the olive oil.
- Let the jar to stand in the sun for about a month and occasionally shake.
- Once a month later strain the mixture and pour the resulting oil into a bottle.
