How to prepare your favorite hot drinks in a healthy way?

Hot or warm drinks are the best allies of good health if they are prepared in a healthy way. This is the season when you can prepare home-made salty, sweet, or chocolate combinations of hot drinks. We believe that everybody will find something for their taste.
Non-alcoholic punch with cranberries
With all the cranberry nutritive values your body can get almost everything it need for staying healthy.
- 100 g of cranberry
- 500 ml of cranberry juice
- 500 ml of red orange juice
- 300 ml of mineral water
- 1 lime (juice only)
- Lemon and orange zest
- Mint leaves
Simply, heat all the ingredients in a bowl and enjoy this savory winter drink! Optionally, you can add a teaspoon of grounded nutmeg.
Golden milk is an excellent drink in fight against cold and flu.
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 teaspoon of curcuma
- 1 teaspoon of ginger
- A pinch of black pepper
Warm the milk, turmeric, ginger and pepper in a wider pot. Stir until all the ingredients are melted. Let the mixture boils then stir and let it for another minute or two, but be careful not to get the milk burnt. Mix well, turn off the fire and allow the beverage to stand for another 10 minutes. Add honey and consume it warm.
The effect of spicy ginger has many benefits for the organism. The tea may be warm or chilled, either ways its main purpose is to heat the body, reduce digestive problems and boost immunity.
Pour a teaspoon of peeled and grated ginger with 2.5 dl of boiling water and let it for 5 to 10 minutes.
Healthy mulled wine
The beverage will be even more delicious if it is prepared with high quality wine. Using red wine is advised because researches show that it is rich in flavonoid that has impact on human health.
- 1.750ml of wine
- 3 glasses of water
- teaspoon of raisins
- 5 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 pieces cardamom
- 2 oranges
- 1 lemon
In a pot, warm water and add all the spices, cook on low heat for about 15 minutes. Add the wine, sliced orange and halved lemon. Continue to cook for the next 15 minutes. Serve in glasses and enjoy!

Ingredients (per person):
- 240 ml of milk
- 60 grams of dark chocolate (the share of cocoa must be high)
- one teaspoon of mint liquor
- whipped cream
1. Boil the milk then add chopped chocolate. Mix until the chocolate is melted.
2. Pour the chocolate into the cup and add the liqueur. Stir and give the final touch by adding whipped cream.
