Eating just because you are under stress has become a common mechanism in dealing with pressure, but it is not a healthy way to behave in stressful situations. Those who eat because of stress often overeat, which can later result in unhealthy obesity. Because of this, many reach for sweet and other types of junk foods that are full of carbohydrates, calories and fats. Frequent consumption of this food leads to obesity, all of which can cause diabetes and heart diseases.
Walking is the easiest way to calm down and avoid eating too much. This way, the body produces endorphin just as if you eat delicious chocolate. Even a 10 minutes walking can reduce hunger and reduce stress. Experts recommend that you wait an hour after the walk before you start eating something that will not eventually turn into overeating.

Creating a good playlist can relax anyone because music is a natural tranquilizer. Focusing on relaxing songs will distract the mind from hunger and desire for food. Listen to music that relaxes and cheers you up, so you cannot think about food. Studies have shown that classical music reduces stress, high blood pressure and heart beat.
