1. Strawberries and baking soda
It is known that strawberries are effective in teeth whitening due to the enzyme acid they contain, which otherwise is common ingredient in many tooth pastes, and which purpose is to whiten the teeth. Except for the enzyme acids, strawberries also are rich in dietetic fibers that penetrate into the tooth cleaning them from various a bacteria. In order to test the treatment you will need to mix 2-3 medium size squashed strawberries with a teaspoon of baking soda. Use this homemade paste to brush your teeth with regular teeth brush, after what you will wash it away with warm water. You can also use only strawberries to make your teeth whiter in a way that you will just cut the fruit in half and simply rub the teeth with it for about two minutes. Use these treatments 1-2 times a week.
2. Apple and baking soda
In order to whiten the teeth with apple you should just eat it. Natural acids that the apples are plentiful with are great way to succeed this goal. Apple vinegar can also be useful. Because of the effects that vinegar can make on the teeth due to the stronger acids, it is recommended not to use it more that once a week. You should simply dip the brush in the vinegar and brush the teeth for two minutes, then just wash it with water. Apple vinegar can also be used as mouthwash and may be effective in removing stains from teeth.
Lemon, as well as all citrus fruits in general, is considered to be the most beneficial natural substance in whitening the teeth, but it should be used very carefully in order to avoid reduction in calcium in your teeth or damage of the gums. For this treatment, you can use the fruit or its rind. Dip them in warm water and rub the teeth for two minutes, after that just wash the mouth. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes then just wash it away with warm water. The treatment is effective because of the magnesium in the banana peel which has the ability to permeate deeper in the teeth. Effects would be noticeable after about ten regular uses of the treatment.
5. Olive oil
Apply olive oil on cotton swab and apply it on the teeth by rubbing them. Another variant is to use it as mouth washer if you do not mind the taste. It is interesting to see how the oil becomes white, and this method helps in raising the quality of the teeth, especially in situations when they are loose in case of periodontal disease.
