Alex & Sierra's haunting 'Take me'

Our favorite music couple, Alex & Sierra premiered a new track from their upcoming album. Check out our review.
They are for sure one of the sweetest couples out there. Their love is shining so bright, when they look at each other you can just feel the warmth around your heart.
The X Factor USA winners are getting ready to release their second album 'As seen on TV'. And while it will consist mostly cover of their favorite tunes (which is something that they do amazingly good), the album will feature couple original tracks.
After the sultry cover of Britney's 'Toxic', we get to hear 'Take me' from Alex & Sierra. The song is a dreamy, mid-tempo, pop tune. The nice thing is that their vocals perfectly blend together, and while the song has some unexpected, dramatic twists and 'thunderstorm' moments, it still sounds chilled down and relaxed. And the guitar strings just add up to the cozy-ness of the song.
We’re extremely excited to have ‘Take Me’ be the first original song released from this record. It’s one that came together almost on accident in Nashville a few months ago. Sierra misheard one of our co-writers and thought he said something else, but that miscommunication led to writing the line ‘Where do you go when you fall asleep?’ Those words sparked the idea to write a song about being head over heels for someone who doesn’t always know how to speak their mind. So you’re lying awake at night, and turn over to see them asleep and your mind starts to wander. What are they dreaming about? What’s going on in there? What are they running from? And it’s sort of a longing to be in that dream with the person you love, just to be close. Hope you guys like it” - said Alex to Just Jared in an exclusive interview.
Anyway check out the song and let us know what you think.
