Celine Dion, the powerhouse vocal of our time has a new album dropping out next week. Check out the review of the single that announces it 'Trois heures vingt'.
After the devastating tragedy that happened couple months ago when Celine Dion lost the man of her life and her brother, she firmly decided that 'the show must go on'. Incredibly strong and undeniably charming, she made the decision to stay strong for her kids and all her fans, and continue doing what she knows best - singing the pain away.
Every couple years we get to hear Celine's vocal in French and she never forgets to surprise her fans with a tribute to her roots and her native language. The album that drops on 27th of this month is titled 'Encore un soir' which means 'One more night'. It was announces couple of months ago with the title track, and now, a week ahead of the release we get to hear another song from the album.
'Trois heures vingt' originally appears on her album 'Melanie' from 1984, but it made the new album's track list due to the fact that it was part of the funeral service for her late husband. 'Twenty past three' is an emotional piano ballad that touches a subject of unconditional love and being there for each other. Even if you do not understand a word in French, you will hear that Celine captures the emotions in her voice and makes sure that the song finds the way to your heart.
We're leaving together, alright, it's decided.
You want to get me away from here.
Everything has been set, you have set everything up
for tomorrow, during the midday.
I have my parents waiting.
Don't worry, I'll come [with you].
Because wherever you go
I'll always go.
twenty minutes past three,
on Italy Square.
not much later than noon.
Of course I'll come,
it's sure that I'll come.
Don't be afraid,
Take a listen to the song and let us know what you think. Are you ready for a cozy, cold nights by the fire with Celine's emotional ballads?
