Gwen Stefani's Make me like you
Music Reviews / /
Exactly a week ago, Gwen Stefani made something unimaginable. She shot a video for her new song during the 58th Grammys commercial break.
For the promotion of her new album Gwen Stefani has partnered with Target. Besides the standard procedure to include extra songs on the Target edition album; the parnership lead to shooting a live music video for "Make me love you" during Grammy Awards 2016 commercial break.
The video was available on Vevo mere seconds after the live shooting and premiere. It was directed by Sophie Muller, and perfectly matches the song. The song is uplifting, cheerful, pop love song. The video is colorful and fun, a bit retro, showing us Stefani running through various sets, looking gorgeous as usual. The video starts with her waking up at some kind of car crash setting, wearing striped black white dress, her signature blond hair paired with blood red lipstick. After that, Stefani gets the dress off, leaving her in all black ensemble as she goes through a hair salon reading tabloid stories about her. Next setting is a bar named Blake's, where Stefani confirms that she is pretty much in love. The video wraps up in improvised skating rink where she uses a body double to film a fall, while she changes in a dress for the video's final scene.
We think the video is fun and uplifting just as the song itself. Take a look and let us know if Gwen is making you like her or love her?
