Mollie from The Saturdays officially goes solo

Mollie King from one of the most successful UK girl groups, The Saturdays goes solo. And we must say she sounds amazing on her debut ‘Back to you’.
If you have been a fan of The Saturdays, you are most definitely aware that 2 years have passed since we saw the girls together. We got a greatest hits compilation and a tour, even an effort to conquer the US market but since then they have been on an 'official break'. Earlier this year one fifth from the group, Una Healy took the stage of The Voice Ireland to sing her first solo effort live but we have not seen it officially released as a single and did not get a video for it, though it was 'in the making'.
Now another member of The Saturdays is made her solo debut. Mollie King has released her first single 'Back to you' properly, with a digital release and a music video. And on top of that, the song is amazingly good. It is electronic pop tune written by Mollie herself, Ryan Ogren, Nick Bailey and Rob Persaud. It is one hell of a good pop jam, following the trend with dreamy elements and of course powerhouse production on Mollie's vocals.
The song was officially released a week ahead of the music video. Directed by Lisa Gunning, we get to see Mollie looking stunning in a 'backwards' paced storyline. Opening scene finds her sitting by a fireplace, outside and alone, and as the video goes on, we see that in fact it touches a subject of a troubled relationship, with emotions powerful as the song itself.
Check it out and let us know what you think of it. Is the girl on the right path to pop stardom?
