Rihanna's sensual Kiss it better video

Read our review of Rihanna’s seductive, jaw dropping new video.
Back when we reviewed 'Anti' we have marked 'Kiss it better' as the one song of the album that is an ode to old Rihanna with a new twist. It sounds like something that she would have done earlier, though some years back it might have been only an album track instead of single. It is big, power ballad, it features Rihanna's (clearly improved) haunting vocals, electric guitar riffs and catchy lyrics. This song might be the 'Rehab/Te amo' of this era.
'Kiss it better' was written by Jeff Bhasker, John Glass, Teddy Sinclair, and Rihanna herself, while the production was done by Bhasker, Glass and Kuk Harrell.
British fashion photographer Craig McDean directed the stunning, sensual black and white video for the song. The explicit video opens up with Rihanna covered with a see through sheet, wind machine effects and 'strategic' numerical cube 'walk around'. Most of the time we see Rihanna's silhouette, her contours and her bare breasts. Yup, she has gone bra-less for the whole four minute video. She changes couple of outfits, from oversized suit to sexy lingerie as we see close up shots and her sensual dance moves.
It features the singer intermittently standing, writhing on the ground and floating through space through various stages of undress while she sings to the Prince-esque synth and electric guitar track. In fact, Rihanna is the entire video -- there's no backdrop at all." - states Billboard.
The video is damn sexy, sultry but it isn't vulgar at all. Opposite of her previous ‘revealing’ videos (like 'Pour it up'), this one is classy, seductive, empowering and pretty much rule-breaking. Rihanna clearly wanted to create a intimate video, where she is fully comfortable with her nudity, and we must say she managed to do just that.
