Would you like to be Justin Bieber's company?
Music Reviews / /
In the past year we saw that Justin Bieber is maturing as a person, and as an artist as well. Check out our review of his latest single.
'Company' is the title of the latest R&B jam we get to hear from Justin Bieber. Taken off from his fourth album (which turned out to be worldwide critically acclaimed), the song was chosen to follow up 'Love yourself' and be the album's fourth single.
'Company' was written by Bieber himself, with the help of Jason Boyd, James Abrahart, Andreas Schuller, Thomas Troelsen, James Wong and Leroy Clampitt. And no, that's not a lot of co-writers since the song was also co-produced between Axident, Gladius, Big Taste and Boyd. But everything for a good song, right?
Sound wise it is a mash up between electropop and R&B with guitar and percussion elements. Justin's vocals are soothing and groovy. Lyrically it is about finding the 'right' and 'equal' partner on the dance floor.
Can we, we keep, keep each other company
Maybe we, can be, be each other's company
Let's set each other's lonely nights
Be each other's paradise
Need a picture for my frame
Someone to share my ring
Tell me what you wanna drink
I tell you what I got in mind
Oh I don't know your name
But I feel like that's gonna change..."
The song was one of the album tracks that got video in the 'Purpose: The movement', but now we get another, brand new video for it, shot by Justin's personal videographer Rory Kramer. This time it is a bit more emotional since we get to see Justin on and off the record, in the studio, in his free time, behind the scenes and on the scene during his Purpose World Tour.
Take a listen and let us know if you are slowly becoming 'belieber'.
